Training at home is already boring. I need to get out and get in different fields, on different sheep etc. Pat has taken some time to get over her winter rustiness and is still a bit sticky. Tap had a few solid weeks of near perfection and then it all fell apart. Well not really, but we now have some stuff to work on :)
I have 2 days of lessons scheduled with Beverly Lambert in June (the weekend of Hop Bottom, so will miss that fun trial alas - but training NEEDS to take preference! Especially before a trial on doggy Kathadins in a small field), another in July and hopefully can get back once more before I leave in September. I also need to go work with Warren Mick, who has judged some of the big national level trials so can also help me tweak my handling...I will need it - especially with Pat, who at the moment is looking at loosing almost half her outrun points the way she's running out right now :) I will need to gain some somewhere else!
